CB Nordic Legacy Fund

The Crested Butte Nordic Legacy Fund is an investment in the future of nordic skiing and winter recreation. It is an investment in affordability and accessibility. It is an investment in the health and well-being of the people who call this magnificent place home.

As a community organization, Crested Butte Nordic is dedicated to sharing the joy of winter. Winter in the Gunnison Valley is long and cold. We understand that outdoor recreation significantly improves physical and mental well-being. Our programs are crucial to getting residents and visitors outside on skis or snowshoes to enjoy and thrive through the winter months.

We take pride in offering affordable and accessible programming for all. Our junior programs get kids on skis from Pre-K through high school for a fraction of the cost of similar offerings in other mountain towns. Our adult programs are available for a nominal session fee with rental equipment included to lower the barrier to entry. We offer free programming through our community outreach channels, including collaborations with the Gunnison Watershed School District, Inmigrantes Unidos de Gunnison, Gunnison Valley Health, and other local nonprofits.

The CB Nordic Legacy Fun ensures that these programs remain affordable for all. Your give supports elementary students in Ski for PE, high school athletes competing at Junior National Qualifiers, community outreach programming, and affordable clinics for adults of all ages and abilities. When you give to the fund, you give the gift of winter.
