Gifts of Stock

Crested Butte Nordic Council encourages potential donors to use their marketable securities holdings to make charitable donations to the organization. Along with tax deductions on the donations, as provided by law, donors may also eliminate capital gains through a gift of appreciated stock. We urge donors to seek tax advice from their financial advisor on donations of securities.
