The Outpost Finish Line
We only have $7,500 left to raise!
We are so close! Winter is here, and so is The Outpost. You've helped us reach this milestone, and now the finish line is in sight. Can you help us close the gap? Next time you're on 2nd Street, stop by the Nordic Center; we'd love to give you a tour.
This latest storm was a great reminder that it's time to buy your season pass, sign up for Masters, and register the kids for youth programs. We'd love to help you make the most out of winter.
We are thrilled to share that The Bench trails will be open starting Saturday, November 11th. Until that time, please remember our trails are not open to the public. Check the CB Nordic website for updates, trail openings, and the grooming report as the season progresses.
See you on the trails soon!

The Outpost
The finish line is right around the corner!
We're closing in, on all fronts! The insulation is going in this week, and that means drywall is next. You should also expect to see the Outpost's exterior siding begin to go up in the coming weeks. We're also thrilled to share that our fundraising gap is now only $7,500. That's only 15 $500 donations. Can you help us close the gap in time for winter?
Thank you for helping us grow into a brighter and better version of ourselves.

The State of Nordic Operations
Bench Trails to Welcome Skiers on November 11th!
A few words from Kevin Krill, our Operations Manager - If you haven't been to the Nordic Center recently, it is worth a drive by. We are deep in Outpost construction. Nothing is ever normal, and this fall is no exception. By Thanksgiving, we hope to gain more of our Training Area back so that we're ready to host lessons and programming without a hitch. This is, of course, dependent on snowfall.
Speaking of snowfall, did anyone notice it snowed this weekend? It is always amazing how fast the landscape transforms. We are thrilled to share that The Bench trails will be open starting Saturday, November 11th. Until that time, please remember our trails are not open to the public. The majority of Nordic Center trails utilize private trail easements and do not allow for preseason skiing - please help us maintain positive landowner relations by respecting private property.
What's the status of Lily Lake? Given the abundance of early-season snow in town, our priority is to prepare and maintain our in-town trails for opening day on November 11th. In particular, our focus is on the Bench Trails. Should the weather turn (significantly warm-up), we will consider grooming Lily Lake. For now, thanks for your patience and we cannot wait to welcome you on the Bench Trails next Saturday, November 11th.
In the meantime, we encourage you to enjoy the abundance of public land surrounding the Town. Thanks to everyone who is as excited to ski as I am!
